Currently in Catania (and Stromboli) for my project Planetary Anger, examining volcanoes as active planetary bodies in which contradictory states such as destruction and creation overlap, and understanding this ambivalence as a model for anger—not as purely destructive, but as a productive, space-generating force.
At its core is a research-based practice of observing, collecting, and experiencing that connects volcanic landscapes, materials, and atmospheres with questions of bodily tension, control, and eruptive processes.
The project frames anger as an uncontrollable, transformative force beyond patriarchal discipline and develops it into a long-term artistic-theoretical cycle that intertwines geological, affective, and social dimensions.
